On the 26th March 1942 a Wellington bomber from the R.A.F crashed in a meadow near Vlaardingen, Holland.
A Memorial was erected on this site to remember the 6 young men who died in that crash.
They were all between the ages of 20-26 years old.
A monument was unveiled on June 15 2012 by Wing Commander Sharp of the R.A.F.
We were asked if we would donate an RAF Ensign – which we were honoured to do so.
